    Welcome to Laura’s realm, a charming group of trulli and lamie clinging to a terraced cultivation of olive trees and ancient oaks with a wonderful view of Cisternino, in the true heart of the Itria Valley.

    Our host, Laura, fell in love with this peaceful oasis and, thanks to her aesthetic sense, she was able to recover the trulli and terraces according to tradition, while at the same time equipping them with every comfort.
    The kitchen is an excellent example of pure authenticity blended with high-tech elements: the stone sink and white masonry furniture are combined with a cooking top, hood, oven, dishwasher and an American-style fridge with ice dispenser, all of which are in stainless steel.
    The large swimming pool embraces both the past and the present: its position offers a stunning panoramic view of the Itria Valley and it is surrounded by a solarium area and a stone terracing with an outdoor hot shower.

    The rustic restoration style, which brings ancient times to mind and is inspired by a deep bond with nature, evokes the magic of distant countries with its ethnic furnishing: the owners chose to decorate their home with several pieces of Balinese furniture, including the four-poster bed in the wisteria room and the antique couch in the living room, bringing here a piece of the many things admired on their trips abroad… the world in a room, indeed.

    INSIDE: Trullo La Grotta consists of 5 cones and 2 lamia, internally connected.

    The trulli block contains 2 double bedrooms served by 1 bathroom with shower and a reading corner with a sofa.
    The lamia block provide 1 triple bedroom with a French bed and a single bed, 1 double bedroom with French bed and 1 utility room (with a single bed), 1 bathroom with bathtub, an open plan living room and kitchen-diner with a double-sided fireplace. 
    Each bedroom has its own independent external exit.
    Additional: 1 single sofa bed and, on request, 1 cot and 1 high-chair.

    OUTSIDE: 
    The property dominates a small valley overlooking the old town of Cisternino and is surrounded by dense vegetation of olive and oak trees.
    The outdoor spaces include a patio with a teak table for 10 people, a terrace complete with barbecue, a 12 x 4 meter SWIMMING POOL with sun terrace and outdoor shower (hot water).

    BOOKING NOTES: Trullo La Grotta can be rented by 6 people up to 10.
    It is equipped with radiant heating and can be rented all year round.
